The Hallowe'en Tree Night Shots

No, I just couldn't wait. Looking at it conjures up the magic of Hallowe'en, candles flickering within orange pumpkin grins.

Magic...

so neat -- is that your tree? I love those little containers. I'm actually working to make one right now.

I bought the tree this afternoon at a garden shop, have been looking for one for a lond time and this one wasn't too expensive. The jack o' lanterns are ceramic, weatherproof and are designed from old paper mache lanterns from the 30's and 40's. They came from www.thesunshineshed.com. I bought them last year and haven't really thought of anything to do with them until now.
Would love to see what you're working on!

i was at my boyfriends yesterday and we made a fire out back. it was a little crisp cold and the sound and smell of the fire... all i could think about was carving pumpkins.

Sausage, you're just asking for a possessed clown doll, aren't you? I will do something on the crop circle...when I can keep from crying every time I see it (Mrs. Macabre burned a pile of brush in the backyard and sterilized a perfect circle of charred carnage admist a sea of green, abandoning all hope of ever growing grass there, Sausage loves to torment me of it).

Just placed an order for some more @ TheSunshineShed.com

I think that I am going to make a figure of Carapace Clavicle Moundshroud to stand next to it for Halloween and see who 'gets' it.

Mr. Macabre, as soon as I finish my little paper mache jack, I will post it for you! ... I built the form, and I sketched the face, cut out the eyes ... I just haven't found time for the "hard part" of building out the features.

Gah. This week really needs to end already so I can breathe again.
