Life on the fast forward button

Geeze, they weren't kidding when they said that time goes by faster when you get older. Tomorrow is Wednesday and I'm wondering what happened to the first 2 days. I can't complain, business has picked up some and that's a very good thing. I've been making a couple of extra dollars here and there which is nice, I've been putting it into (you guessed it kiddies) Hallowe'en props. I'm incorrigible, I know.

Something weird happened today, I poured me a bowl of some new cereal, Special K Vanilla and Almond flakes and through the middle of the bowl, I started noticing that I was getting sores in my mouth and tongue. My mouth has been sore all day weirdly enough, like it was blistered. I think that I'll have oatmeal instead tomorrow. I'm not allergic to anything that I know of in the ingredients. Very strange.

Will try to come up with something dark and foreboding to share soon...

I don't know.I think the report of mystery sores brought on by cereal fulfils the promise of 'dark and foreboding' *wink*

Yeesh! Only this afternoon was my mouth feeling somewhat back to normal although my tongue still feels raw.
Of course I thought it was the onset of leprosy or someone had poisoned me being the paranoid person that I can be.

"Early don't eat breakfast. He thinks it’s a conspiracy put together by the cereal people."
It's just the "special" in the Special K Vanilla with Almond flakes that’s doing that to your mouth, no need to be alarmed. Please continue to ingest your daily allotment of Special K until your prescription has been exhausted.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Let's see, I've gone through the scenarios of someone putting Drano in the boxes as a prank, a new and unheard of disease that blisters your mouth and of course, I have to be trendy and contract swine flu and this is a side effect that they haven't come across yet. Now cereal company conspiracy, they take over your brain by drugged cereal. Lovely, where's my xanax?
