Horrified Screams in Hobby Lobby

THREE WORDS...WHAT THE %$#@&?!

I was minding my own business this morning, happy as a clam when suddenly the skies grew black, the earth trembled and a hellish light drew my attention to this.
Owl poop.  Wrapped in tin foil.  And you're supposed to dig around in it to find a little mole skeleton and put it together.

I think I threw up a little in my mouth.  I'm going back to bed and try this day over again.

with all of the dead carcasses your cats bring in, you should consider this a business model...start your own business!

(since this was my idea, i get 50% of all your earnings...)

What the hell were the nice folks at Hobby Lobby thinkin'? And I'm guessing they had it proudly displayed in the children's crafts isle?

The public schools didn't force my kids to sift through owl turds searching for bones until they were in 7th grade.

oddly enough, "throwing up in your mouth" is appropriate in this context. these are not owl poops, they are owl pellets. owls eat their food whole, and cannot pass the bones and fur through their digestive tract, so they cough them up in compact little wads. if you pick them apart, you can see what's they've been eating. the ones sold through hobby places have been sterilized, which is good, because fresh ones smell like evil.

OWL BARF?! I'm expected to sift through owl barf for some bones?! Somehow that doesn't make it sound any better whatsoever.

Thanks for sharing this, although I'm still not going to play with owl barf any time soon.

"smell like evil"=love that phrase! I will definitely use that in my everyday conversations from now on LOL!
