I came up with this wonderful recipe for a rustic cherry pie and I wanted to share it with all of you because I'm such a nice guy and..and...I can't do it, I
STOLE this recipe from Alice and her most delightful blog
Curiouser and Curiouser. I made mine with some cherries and it turned out beautifully.
Here is her recipe (hers looks absolutely divine in peach!). And it's easy to boot!

That looks delectable!
I used to make rustic apple tarts all the time... so good. I'll have to dig out the recipe.
But cherry... mmmm. Blood-bloodcurdling good, I'm sure. :)
I just lost 7 pounds! Why do you have to wave your little tart in my face like that! I'm just kidding about the waving of tarts, but I did lose 7lbs. It looks super good, peach or apple would be good too.
Uh, I found your 7 pounds Captain RIGHT ON MY GUT!
Oh yeah, apple would be great, with walnuts and cinnamon with a big scoop of ice...STOP IT, I'M GOING TO HAVE A STROKE IF I KEEP THIS UP!
And it is indeed wonderful!
We hope you didn't eat all that yet as we're on my way over. We're flattered that you knew Cherry was our favorite!
This looks delicious! . . . but, given the theme of your blog, I first saw the photo as a fricaseed internal organ ladled in blood sauce.
Yum!
Ah, I am heading over with Ghoul Friday, cause cherry is my favorite too!!
Yum!
cheers!
