Christmas fail, Hallowe'en succeed...

Saw this Christmas ball in Tuesday Morning. Obviously someone wasn't paying attention or has a wickedly fun sense of humor on the paint line.

Nope, didn't buy it. Too expensive for what it was.

At first glance I thought you had painted it, that's even more awesome that it was in a store like that.

Oh wow, seriously? It took me a minute to realize you hadn't detailed this as well. It came like that?

Think this is just a case of forced perception by those of us who love Halloween? Like with nomadic tribes who see 3D "boxes" drawn on paper as meaningless lines, because they don't have experience with room shapes?
i.e. Christmas lovers see trees and a fence, and those of us who enjoy jack-o-lanterns see a grim face?

So cool!

Also, a link to better summarize what I was muttering about in that last paragraph:

I think that it is indeed a case of forced perception, coupled with bad art. I looked it over and it had just one triangle (house top?) on the other side so there was nothing there to see.
Or there was some person on the painting line that had a dark sense of humor and wanted to see what he or she could get away with.

Wow, that is cool. I just have this vision in my head of the person painting it with a slight smile on their face :)

Thanks for sharing! What a find!

Cheers!
