Like I needed another diversion/addiction..

I found a guilty pleasure last night...Trueblood.  I saw it on Netflix and said, "hmmm, looks interesting."

Addicting is a more accurate term.

Taking place in Louisiana, vampires are trying to intergrate themselves within society upon creation of synthetic blood.  One 174 year old vampire strolls into town and inadvertertantly finds bigotry and love within a narrow minded Southern backwoods town.

It's getting more complicated but that was the gist of season 1.   Sigh, the laundry's going to be piling up again it seems....

True Blood is great. Yes, you will get addicted to it! Sadly, I can't watch the second season (airing right now) cuz we got rid of our HBO, but I'm planning on renting season 2 as soon as it comes out.

Sookie (well, Anna) even won a golden globe for her role on this show. I was kinda shocked that "they" did that eventhough she deserved it. Yay to vampires & creepy stuff!

Enjoy watching it!~

I'm watching season two online right now!

Unfortunately, the explicit nude scenes make me blush and feel kind of queasy, but otherwise I love this show. We should gossip about it like girlies sometime. :)

Additionally, since I can't find a private way to e-mail you (not that I have one up on my account... I should remedy that, I think) - thank you for your kind words on my blog. You and the Captain are the first two blogs that I ever followed, and the bloggy interaction with you always makes me cheerful.

Your kind words of support are invaluable to me. :) I appreciate you greatly.

True Blood definitely tops laundry any day. I missed the episode last night but thank goodness they run it again on Monday nights.

I have season one but haven't started to watch it yet, I know once I start I will get nothing done. Maybe I'll pull a marathon this weekend.
