Though I am not too sure about the statement that Cats do not have a sweet tooth. I have had several cats over my lifetime that have enjoyed ice cream, cool whip or frosting.
I think that I'd read somewhere that Walt Disney wasn't too fond of cats either, or maybe it was just that he liked dogs better.
Anyway, if one had to pick between the two species, cats definitely win out as the best Halloween mascot...unless maybe you want to count werewolves in the dog family.
