Halloween 2009

Despite my whining and the rains, Hallowe'en wasn't so bad after all.  We didn't have that many trick-or-treaters (probably less than 25) but I placed about 2 dozen pumpkins in the yard and for some reason, it gave a magical feel to it.  And we were given 2 HOMEMADE caramel apples!  I was stoked!  A dear friend came over and wanted to help give out candy...

Would you take candy from this woman?

We ate pizza, drank wine and watched the Addams Family marathon.  Everything considering, it wasn't that bad and the cleanup was a lot easier.  Mrs. Macabre knew that this year was a disappointment to me so while at Lowe's yesterday, I saw a deep fryer that I had my eye on in the buggy.

I smiled, nothing says love like deep fried food.
