No joke - trunk or treat? Talk about sucking all the fun out of the holiday. Why not just buy your kids a bag of candy and be done with it. For me, Halloween is about community - local community. Getting to know the neighbors around you and their kids in a fun way. If you are worried about your kids, go with them. That way, they will be safe from cars and pedophiles. Duh.
